Richard Thurer, M.D.
Richard J. Thurer, M.D. was appointed to the newly created position of Ombudsperson for the Miller School on March 1, 2010. Dr. Thurer is the B. and Donald Carlin Professor of Thoracic Surgical Oncology and most recently served as Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs. Past roles have included terms as Speaker of the School Faculty Council and First Vice-Chair of the Faculty Senate.
